At the far end of the tip of the Ölmanäs peninsula is the nature reserve Näsbokrok. Sea and wind have shaped a barren but beautiful landscape with cobblestone fields, cliffs and extensive heather. Here you'll find a walking-friendly loop where even those who have difficulty walking, or who want to bring a pram, can easily wander.
Åsa Kustpromenad stretches from Näsbokrok in the north to Vassbäck in the south and connects eight bays. You walk along the sea between nice bathing coves on a nice coastal path. Along the promenade there are viewpoints with picnic tables, and you have a fantastic view towards the West Sea.

Organic Hamra Farm in Åsa, northern Halland is a small lamb and outdoor pig farm. In the Gårdsbutiken at HamraGård you will find goods from our farm, as well as high-quality local food crafts, many of which are organic. We raise all our animals ourselves, we grow the feed they eat ourselves and we recruit our breeding animals ourselves. In short, we work long-term and sustainably. Bees, flies and flowers are most welcome with us and weeds are treated with respect. We do what we can to keep the water clean and reduce emissions. Here at Byaregården on the edge of Viskan in the middle of the Halland idyll, north of Varberg, we serve our visitors an experience out of the ordinary. We are a family business with a craft brewery, pizza restaurant, own vineyard and a small farm shop.

Experience "Swedish" animals up close. The farm is open every day of the year and you are always welcome to enjoy the surroundings and visit the animals even when the farm is unmanned. The large map on the wall of the barn shows in which paddock or enclosure the animals go!
We offer, among other things, courses for young people, hostels, pitches, canoes and children's parties. During holidays, we also offer activities such as horse & carriage and pony riding. Have a coffee in the cozy Gårdscaféet.

More than 630,000 plant lovers from all over the world visit the Botanical Garden in Gothenburg every year. Here you will meet the dramatic Rock Garden and the peaceful Japan Valley, but also colorful perennials and summer flowers. Botaniska will be 100 years old in 2023 and we hope you will come and celebrate with us.
In the garden there are 20,000 different plant species from more than 130 countries. The cultivated area is 20 hectares and the garden's arboretum (collection of trees) extends over 55 hectares.
Slottsskogen is one of Gothenburg's largest, oldest and most popular parks. Here there is a rich flora and fauna, large grassy areas for picnics and many walking paths for exercise. The park is a meeting place all year round with playgrounds, various activity areas, outdoor pedagogy and one of Sweden's oldest zoos - open all year round and free to visit.
The Garden Association in Gothenburg is one of Europe's best-preserved 19th-century parks. During the summer, the Rosary is filled with several thousand colorful, fragrant roses. In the Palmhuset, the elegant greenhouse from 1878, you will find palm trees and other tropical plants. Undulating forms and plantings take you to the golden age of garden culture.
